This app organizes the vast and varied library of Rick Steves’ audio content into geographic-specific playlists so that travelers can enjoy ready access to the information that relates specifically to their travel plans. Many tracks provide general cultural and sightseeing information gleaned from his public radio program, Travel with Rick Steves. Other tracks are self-guided tours to great sights and historic walks. While we travel there’s lots of down time, and this application can both entertain and teach. Rick Steves Audio Europe will hopefully make your European travels more meaningful and more fun.

Features:

• The app downloads and stores audio files on your device. No Wi-Fi or cellphone connection is required to listen. (You will need a connection if you choose to add audio tracks later.)
• Handy maps (PDF) that complement the self-guided audio tours can be viewed on your device.
• The audio content originates from Rick Steves guidebooks and the Travel with Rick Steves public radio program. Self-guided tours are excerpted from Rick Steves country and city guidebooks.
• Rick Steves Audio Europe is a work in progress. New audio tracks will be added and existing tracks updated as necessary. Be sure to enable Notifications for this app to get the latest updates.

Beter than the payed ones

We visited Rome and like most tourists booked the skip the line with audiotour.
Especially at the Pantheon we got lost we the tour so swapped to this one; it was a great experience. Next we did the city walk and had a great day.
Thank you, we are visiting London in April, looking forward to the tours there.

Rick, thank you for making my second stay here in Rome the inspiring journey everyone dreams of when visiting historical places like this. This is top notch, seriously funny and informative touring, you are the best!!

defenitly would recomend this app

We found this app on or first day in Athens, when we where at the Acropolis. We where looking for an audio tour on or phone, because we wanted more information about what we saw overthere. The audioguide was better than we expect to find on the internet. We enjoyed our first walk with Rick so much, that we went through all the other opions in Athens aswell. We really enjoyed the walk around the city, because we saw more than we had without it. We also really liked the walk around the museum, because, with the instructions, we know where we had te look for the most intressting things and it made all more scense. We even wish there were more tours on the app in Athens we could do. In our next Europe citytrip, we defenitly will use the app again. It works perfectly. We defenitly would recomend it.
