All an animator really needs

Still my favorite hand drawn animation app on iPad. A couple of brushes, a fill tool that can reference line art on another layer, a timeline and a camera.

Een helder overzichtelijk programma

RoughAnimator gebruik ik persoonlijk om 2D animaties te maken. Als basis gebruik ik 3D animaties die ik importeer daar is dit programma heel goed geschikt voor. Het is overzichtelijk, het is niet moeilijk, het is snel te leren en makkelijk in gebruik, in tegenstelling tot veel andere animatie programma’s. Je verzuipt niet in een interface waarvan je misschien maar 10% gebruikt.

I was delighted to find this app after I wasted a lot of time on several others that sometimes missed the most obvious features like onion skinning. Since improved line smoothing was added to RoughAnimator, I can’t think of anything that it misses.

No overpriced monthly / annual subscriptions, just a fair one-time no-nonsense purchase. A big thumbs-up!
