Getting Started

It takes just a few minutes to get started with Santander Mobile Banking.

Already a customer?
• You’ll need your Personal ID, Security Number, phone number and/or email address that you’ve registered with us.
• Open the app, select ‘Log on’ and enter your details
If you’ve forgotten any details or have any issues logging in, please see our help guides at www.santander.co.uk/personal/support/ways-to-bank/on-your-mobile

New to Santander?
• You can open a Personal Current Account using our app. For other types of account, please visit www.santander.co.uk.
• Simply open the app and select ‘New Customer’.
• You’ll need a U.K. Driving Licence or U.K. passport, if you don’t have either of these you can open an account at www.santander.co.uk or by contacting us.
• We’ll guide you through the application process to set up your account.
This is a new process so there's currently some restrictions. We’re hoping to include more account types and I.D. options soon.

Once set up be sure to allow ‘push notifications’ to see messages from us on your phone’s home screen.

Remember:

• Never share a One Time Passcode (OTP) or your Security Number with anyone. Not even a Santander employee.
• Santander will never call to ask to log on to your mobile device or computer, or ask you to download any type of software.

Santander Mobile Banking will not run on devices that have been jailbroken.

Please make sure you have the latest Apple software on your phone so that our app runs smoothly. Otp takes for ever

The otp takes for ever to authorize
Not get customer service and stressful

Really improvable

Gets blocked constantly
I need to reboot the app at least once a day
When you transfer money, it doesn’t write a coma
The kind of services offered in the app are very basic. Going to the physical bank is worse and useless so it’s better with the app - and that’s sad.

Bloated

The app is huge - at 600 MB it is by far the biggest app on my phone. And it keeps forcing me to update every time they want to add some new useless feature to the bloat.
