Cool concept, terribly performed.

After about 10 hours of playtime and 100% completing the first couple worlds (never spent a penny on the game) I realised this game’s concept is just spot on, the indies feel to it in a much newer jacket.

When I was re-doing some worlds it got a lot harder, the many coins are now just the few you missed, so getting your fuel back is very tedious, collect 10 coins then rush back to a checkpoint so you don’t have to do it over and over because you keep hitching and landing in red vines or flying critters.

After completing the game I just ended up giving up on it.

The controls are easy to learn, but very, very hard to master. Impossible I’d say, because you never know what your ship will do when you accidentally hit a wall and get bounced 20 feet away, or if you hit a vertical block making you unable to move but consuming TONS of fuel.

If only it were possible to changing the controls (e.g. a joystick on screen or tilting the device) or if they added “ghost” coins where coins would be in previous levels that just give fuel, a smaller amount even and no coins. That’d be such a gamebreaker.

But no, nothing, even a year ago the devs just gave up on this game, like I have recently. This is by far their best game, and it isn’t great.

If I had to rate this game I would have to give it a 4/10 overall.
