As a teacher with SozDia Foto you can document numerous situations and events about the children in SozDia-Stiftung Berlin. The documentation can consist of images, videos, audio, text, tags, and recorded sound for photos. All documentation is collected in a documentation theme, which can be published to SozDia-Stiftung Berlin for further processing, documentation and statistics.

Furthermore, the app contains a child mode, where the camera will be locked. This gives the child the opportunity to document from their own perspective. A user has to unlock the child mode before anything can be published.
