Subs Factory is great
Subs factory is a great tool to sync subs. It does what you want. So i recommend it to anyone who wants to resync, split, merge, change subs. I love it!!
Great new update
The new update is great. I've been using Subs Factory for years and finally having the ability to trim the subs by clicking and dragging in the timeline is the feature I had been missing. Also having the waveform overlaid there as a reference is super handy.
I like the new layout too, but even better would be if the user was able to arrange the window layout themselves. Some sort of snapping like Promiere Pro would be ideal.
One star off for the new colour scheme. The yellow is very bright, and in the timeline it is hard to distinguish between the highlight, the sub text and the waveform. Either introduce a much higher contrast scheme, or maybe allow colour customisation?
Very powerful
This is the best app I’ve tried for creating or adjusting subtitles to a movie. I use it mostly to synchronize the downloaded subs with either the movie or with subs in a different language. You can set the markers and then let it sync in a split second.
The user interface is fine, although editing the text and inserting/deleting subs is a bit tricky and unnatural. But that is the only bad thing I can think of.
