TEAC HR Streamer is a high-definition audio player application for the iPad/iPhone, designed to work with TEAC Network Audio Players. TEAC HR Streamer allows iPad/iPhone users to conveniently manage network audio playback on their devices, enriching the experience by displaying cover art and allowing the creation of custom playlists etc. 【Main features】 ◆Fast response ･The system automatically reads tagged information in advance and pre-fetches album art images, allowing users to quickly browse through libraries. ･When adding a new music file to the library, the process of retrieving associated data is consequently very quick. ◆Straightforward onscreen browsing ･The easy-to-read screen is divided into three panels: playlist, music selection and playback operation. ･Album art is neatly tiled. ･Album art uses high resolution imagery which can be enlarged or reduced for viewing. ･System functionality includes a powerful search and sort by filter/category facility. I really like HR Streamer with my TEAC NT-505. Browsing my 2600+ album library is very easy and playback is very stable. What would be nice to have is sorting based on the sort tags in my media files. For instance the songs/albums from artist 張惠妹 have a sort tag A-Mei, however in the Artist tab in the app this artist is not between the othe artists with A but at the end (with the other Chinese/Japanese artists).
