Goede app voor vegans

Het is in feite een grote lijst van e-nummers en hun mogelijke oorsprong. De app is snel, is handig in gebruik en heeft me vaak geholpen.

Super handig.

Very happy with the app. But question:
In the beauty schedule. I see no plantbased ingredients. Aren’t there any or is the app only mentioning animal based ingredients?

Aan de voorzichtige kant

Deze app is aan de voorzichtige kant. Een aantal e-nummers die de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Veganisme (NVV) noemt als mogelijk dierlijk, worden hier altijd dierlijk genoemd. Melkzuur (lactic acid) is bijna altijd plantaardig, staat in deze app als altijd dierlijk.
Toch een goede en fijne app! Vooral de materialen en ingrediënten van cosmetica/verzorging gebruik ik, het e-nummer kaartje van de NVV blijf ik gebruiken voor eten, dan pak ik alleen deze app als ik extra uitleg wil.
