Vigilance Buddy by Research Buddies

This application is based on the ‘psychomotor vigilance task (PVT)’ which measures the speed of which users respond to the given visual stimulus.

Edit the number of rounds per test, maximum time between tap and start of the timer and much more.

Collect & Send the results directly to your personal email address.

With our focus on usability the application can be used easily by anyone. Because of this it doesn’t matter if your subjects are digital natives or people with zero to none tablet experience.

We've made updates to the code in order to keep up with the latest version of iOS!
Another nice thing is we've added "Count of response time over 500ms" in order to keep track of slow taps!

Great App!

I think this is a great app that we will for sure be using a lot!
One question, any chance to include in the output besides ‘False Positives’ also PVT lapses, defined as number of responses exceeding 500 ms.?

Useful and pretty at the same time!

I’ve used this app to perform a few experiments which are work related. It was very easy to use and fun for my participants because of the awesome design. It helped me a lot getting results!
