What does HSK mean?

HSK, or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (汉语水平考试), is the official Chinese proficiency test used in China. The exam is available in both written and online formats. It's a crucial test for anyone looking to study at a Chinese university or work for a Chinese company, as it assesses your Chinese language skills. Typically, Chinese universities require an HSK level of 4, 5, or 6 for admission.
