Description
The ZEISS VR ONE Cinema app enables you to enjoy your movies in an immersive environment with the lights off. You feel like you are sitting in a 3D movie theatre where you can look around and towards the screen where a video is being played. The VR ONE Cinema app features a simple and intuitive user interface where you can play/pause the current video or select other videos.
Features:
• Copy your MP4 movies via iTunes file sharing or instantly watch your videos from your phone’s camera roll

Important: DRM-protected movies are not supported (e.g. purchased movies from iTunes Store).
Please note: For 3D side-by-side (SBS) movies, please make sure that the filename contains “SBS” to be played in 3D mode.
Transfer your movies to your iPhone:
• Connect your iPhone 6 to your computer and start iTunes
• Select your iPhone and go to “Apps” -> “File Sharing” -> “VR ONE Cinema”
• Drag and drop .mp4 / .mov files into the list of documents.
• Movies in 720p resolution are best for watching in the VR ONE Cinema.

Great work guys, you've shipped before christmas. However the App hangs upon selecting any photo/video. Useless therefore.
Definitely not there yet
I get the impression that this app has been released prematurely in order to ship the VR One before Christmas. In the app, you can watch regular and 3D movies. But:
- movies need to be copied to the Cinema app via iTunes. This means that these movies are not accessible in another app or that the Cinema app can access movies from another app.
- Although the Cinema app has access to my photos, they can not be viewed in the Cinema app.
- Using the app, you see 'yourself' sitting in a movie theater. Unfortunately you got the worst seats in the theater, like front row. You can not see the full screen, you have to look around if you want to see the edges of the screen. Why? I would have petered a smaller movie screen but the ability to see all parts of the screen without having to look around. Also that may help to overcome the fact that the pixels in my iPhone screen are now really visible with the big cinema screen.
- If you want to select a movie, you can 'click' on it by pointing towards that movie. However, if you want to read the title of that movie (useful if you have several movies), this is impossible as after 1 second the movie starts to play.
- Other 3D apps can not be used as the app does not support side by side 3D apps.
I really hope that this app gets improved, it should not be difficult. Otherwise I'll have another gadget ready to go on eBay.
