Waterspeed includes both a free version and a subscription version with PRO features.
Waterspeed Pro is available on a 1 month or 1-year plan. You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renew can be turned off anytime by going to your Account Settings in iTunes after purchase.
The subscription is valid on any Apple device sharing the same iCloud account (you just need 1 purchase for all devices).
Waterspeed exports your activities into the Apple Health app.

Waterspeed what a speed
I’ve been using Waterspeed for over an year already and I like it very much each time I use it for my windsurfing sessions. As the subscription includes family sharing. Now I can compete with real data with my sons (they still have to beat me on all the speed maximum’s but they are getting closer)
It works seemingly between my iWatch and iPhone.
With the last big iWatch update to 10.0.1 I was a bit worried Waterspeed would drain my battery too much. That wasn’t necessary, no-worries it worked perfectly no extra battery drain whatsoever.
Thank you Massimilliano for your continuous efforts.
BTW This app is expanding, adding new features based on feedback to Massimilliano directly. If you have a good idea or comments for the app tell him about it and he will reply.
I’ve tried many other apps to log my sessions on the water. This app it by far my favorite.
Nice features and good look&feel on the watch/phone/laptop. Like per example you can add your own comments in your own sessions for your own reference. Like I use to track which equipment works best per location & conditions.
Kudos Massimilliano keep on going.
Unusable without a pro account
Free version offers nothing actually if you’re not using an apple watch.

Actually the free version record your activities and offers some stats. For advanced things you need to activate a subscription

A really great app that I use for windsurfing or any other watersports activity, even better with my Apple Watch Ultra
