WayWyser is an outdoor recreational management platform developed by rural community trail managers. The system is suitable for a variety of different settings and makes it easy to monitor and maintain tracks and trails, forests and parklands, lakelands and waterways, and ensure biodiversity and sustainability in wildlife areas. Log issues like damage, flooding or broken signage on your smartphone while walking the trail — saving paperwork and identifying problems sooner. Capture all key details with the simple drop-down menu, including a description of the problem, date and time, GPS location, and photos. Use the app to assign tasks like repairs to contractors or volunteers, who can then confirm when they’ve been fixed so the process is tracked from start to finish. Every step, all in one place using pre-populated menus built into the app replace paper forms, posted reports and individualized maps. WayWyser documents every part of the trail management process in digital form, and produces full reports for insurance and auditing. It works offline, so if there’s no mobile coverage at your location, WayWyser can save all the information and will then upload the collected data the next time it’s connected to the network.
