Xbox Family Settings 4+

Het werkt en doet wat het moet doen maar je moet er wel de tijd voor nemen. Als ik mijn zoon op zolder tijd wil geven kan ik beter er naar toe lopen dan via de app.

Why is always the big question with Microsoft products, and these apps (family safety and Xbox safety settings) are no exception.

1) WHY do we need to have separate accounts for both Microsoft and Xbox settings? Especially for us parents who (such as myself) often are not even active on Xbox.

2) WHY is the process of changing settings this complicated? I consider myself a high moderate computer user, but these settings and limitations keep giving me a headache.

3) WHY is it necessary that every click you make in the website of both platforms opens a new tab in your browser? This is sometimes resulting in fairly over 20 tabs and still not finding the wanted setting.

4) WHY do I need to give my every personal detail to Microsoft before even being able to make the settings that are meant to prevent spreading them over the internet.

And finally about Microsoft in general:
5) WHY after something that works pretty good the following version is always crap? For example:
- Windows 7 -> Windows 8
- Windows 10 -> Windows 11
- the latest update on Office where some buttons are moved after being on the exact same spot for decades.
- Navision & Axapta business Solutions -> MS Business Central 365. By far and beyond the worst upgrade of all mentioned here.
Microsoft just does not understand what people want and need. Unfortunately when your kids want to play games, Microsoft is still about the only possible platform that can be used making it that they can do almost everything they want because the people HAVE to accept it for the lack of an alternative.

I choose Linux every second of the day.

I just want to prevent my child to use or download YouTube on the xbox. Tried everything but it seems you need a university degree to get this done. Al what was needed is a simple pincode option on the YouTube app why is that option not there?
