With Xiaoxiang / jiabaida BMS Smart BMS you can build simple Li-Ion or LiFePo4 battery packs. For camping, car, solar or e-bikes.

iOS app for Xiaoxiang / jiabaida BMS (JBD-SP15S001 / JBD-SP05S002) allows you to monitor voltage of the cells, total capacity, charging/discharging current and alarms temperatures on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Additionally you can switch the battery (charging and discharging ports) off.

Works perfect

I use this BMS for my 50Watt (21Vmax) Solar Panel for several weeks now. I use 4s8p Li-ion cells and charge my iPhone, audio speaker, shaver, head phones for free sunlight. If you connect the BMS starting from the lowest voltage upwards it will work immediately. Also the Bluetooth is working great with iPhone. I monitor the cell voltage differences and capacity. I use in each BMS wire to the battery a small 3A fast fuse for safety. To connect the 32 Li-ion cells together I use a Vruzend kit. I have to design an automatic switch off during darkness because otherwise the battery supplies 100mA to the Solar Panel during darkness. The only disappointing point is that the current display gives 0.00A for currents below 0.2A. It should show down to 0.01A!

Don’t connect

Don’t connect with BMS. It worked the first 15min but then it doesn’t make any connection.

Serial of product is JBD-SP04S020 and I use the latest version of IOS. It keeps hanging on the screen: “Waiting for data”
