APP
OF THE
DAY

The office staple gets reinvigorated with this super-connected app.

Post-it®

Brainstorm. Capture. Share.

View

The Post-it app effortlessly digitises a whiteboard full of sticky notes and makes brainstorming and organising ideas even more fun and collaborative.

What we love: Snapping a pic of a mass of sticky notes; the app will digitise each one and place it on a digital board, arranged in exactly the same layout. From there you can reorder them or have the app neatly line everything up for you (incredibly satisfying), run text-recognition (it even works with handwriting) and export to an image, a PDF, a Trello board, a PowerPoint presentation, an Excel spreadsheet and other formats.

A quick snap digitises all your physical Post-its (left). When creating a digital note, there’s a full spectrum of colours to choose from.

Quick tip: Create a digital note from scratch by typing or sketching with your finger or Apple Pencil. If you want to give your typed notes a handwritten feel, swipe through the fonts to find one with a less formal look.

Meet the creator: Invented by 3M scientists Art Fry and Spencer Silver, Post-it Notes debuted in US stores on 6 April, 1980.
