If your phone has a Lidar sensor it could use that to measure the diameter very accurately.

Good knowledge about your forest will increase its value, makes decisions easier, and make a profitable business.

Arboreal Forest is a digital caliper for the forestry of the future.

The app uses AR and Lidar technology to create a 3D model of the forest where you could walk around and measure Basal area, Diameter, Tree species, Trees per hectare, and height in sample plots. Afterward you could see the result on a map and do summaries offline.

Arboreal Forest is the first tool on a phone where you could measure the most important forest parameters without additional tools or references.
