Join audio, create enhanced chapter stops, adjust quality settings, and let Audiobook Builder handle the rest. When it finishes you get one or a few audiobook tracks in Books, Music, or iTunes instead of hundreds or even thousands of music tracks!
• Import directly from audio CDs: As you import, Audiobook Builder automatically ejects each CD and asks for the next.
• Join the audio files you already have: Already ripped your CDs or have a collection of audio files? Audiobook Builder can quickly join them together.
• Create enhanced chapter stops: Group files into chapters with custom names and artwork.
• Choose your own quality settings: Use the built-in presets or customize the audio settings to your personal taste.
• Drag & drop straight from Music or iTunes and build directly to Books, Music, or iTunes.

Ratings and Reviews
A good tool, but power hungry
I love this little jem of an app, and since Books arrived with no editing of metadata, I'ts a must. If you have audiobooks from other sources than Apple Books, CD's or make your own from scratch - this is the tool you need. It will get you fan running, and uses some battery though.

We're happy to hear you're enjoying Audiobook Builder. Thanks for letting us know! We wish we could help with the battery and fan use, but that's the trade-off when you need to process a ton of data as fast as possible. It's probably better for your battery to connect a power adapter to your Mac for anything with some length to it, though. Like many applications, Audiobook Builder uses Apple's AVFoundation framework to read and write your audio and video data - and we're pretty sure Apple's making the most of all those processor cycles. Still, we'd love to know if you find a tool that doesn't get your fans running or use up your battery juice but gets the job done in about the same amount of time it takes Audiobook Builder.
