UPDATE: It’s great to have a clarification. The beautiful scene could have at least four variations as many locations have four seasons. It’s not about a scene with exact weather conditions for the location, it’s about showing something more realistic than the summer scene during the cold winter.

In panorama view we try to show an image of the expected weather conditions using a 'beautiful' scene- not a picture of your location.
Being able to provide graphics representative of an actual location is part of our long-term goals, we just haven't found the systems or the computational power for it yet.
Snow from yesterday being on the ground today is a factor of yesterday's weather conditions, which is not something that we record or offer. Our Canadian friends have similar concerns, and we are on the lookout for a way to be able to calculate that.
