Good to very good.

I am happy with this app, I especially appreciate to be able to read comments and examine different variations. One function would make it better, maybe it could be added by the developer: When you go through a game, it would be very useful if the "talk bubble / callout icon" changed apperarance (e. g. shifted colour) wherever there is a comment (otherwise it should stay white / empty).

Necessary, but…

(My English is not perfect, so please forgive language errors.)
Everyman Chess Viewer is of course better than Kindle, as the latter is not interactive. (What is the point with an e-book on chess that is not interacrive, is beyond my comprehension.)
Not all books from Everyman are available for Chess Viewer. Some seem only available for Chess Viewer and some are available for Forward Chess as well, which is much better than Chess Viewer.
So there is room for improvement of this software.
1. Compared to Forward Chess (and Gambit Studio and New in Chess Books, it is cumbersome to navigate the books on Chess Viewer. This problem should be fixed.
2. The books I have downloaded, has no titles and subtitles, i.e. a more sloppy look than the physical books. Obviously nobody has been thinking about sectioning the e-books. One example: Smerdon’s Scandinavian is available on both Forward Chess and Chess Viewer. At Chess Viewer I got the impression that the book was not complete, thanks to the sloppy and stupid formatting. So I made a complaint and got a refund, since I honestly believed it was incomplete. Hey, Everyman is losing business by making the books look so crappy! Then I got the book on Forward, to a higher price, and everything looks and works fine. Even more silly, The Killer Dutch was cheaper at Forward than at Everyman Chess Viewer.
Attacking Chess: The Frence is as far as I know, only available on Chess Viewer (as interactive an issue). Then I accept the shortcomings, since I have no choice, reading page by page. It could be much better.
So this software is in need for redesigning.

Bra sjakk app.

Bra app. Kunne vært kjekt med en sjakkmotor for å forstå enkelte posisjoner bedre. Hadde også vært bra å kunne handle nye bøker direkte fra appen.
