Simply arrive relaxed. With EWE Go, you can find the right one for you from a charging network of around 500,000 charging points for electric cars to reliably charge your e-car. Our charging network includes more than 400 High Power Chargers with up to 300 kW charging power.

With the EWE Go app, you can easily find charging stations for your electric car. You can use the navigation function to be guided directly to the charging station you have selected. The EWE Go app gives you access to a charging network of around 500,000 charging points for your e-car across Europe.
Just load.
Book the EWE Go charging tariff in the app and conveniently start and stop charging with the app. Immediately after booking you can use the EWE Go charging tariff - simple, uncomplicated and digital. You also have the option of ordering a charging card as an additional medium if required.
Just pay.
You pay for your charging processes with the EWE Go charging tariff monthly using the payment information you have stored in the EWE Go app.

1. charging point availability: You can now see when the charging points have been occupied.
2. improved start time: the app now starts faster and more efficiently.

Does not support payment with credit cards
The EWE Go app does not allow you to pay for EV charging via credit card. You can only pay in the app via something called SEPA direct bank transfer, which you may not have.
If you are not able to pay via SEPA, there is no way to charge your electric car with this app.
Unfortunately, EWE Go’s developers do not tell you this up front. It only becomes clear after you have finished creating an account and verified your email.
Why would anyone want to install the app? Because EWE Go makes it cheaper to pay for charging via the app, than on the fast charger’s built-in card terminal.

We understand the frustration with the limited payment options. We are currently examining how we can integrate further payment options and hope to be able to offer further solutions soon.
Disaster
Why can’t I just add a credit card and charge like normal people? This app forces you to add a bank account, which is horrendously non efficient.

Hello, we understand your concerns and apologize for the inconvenience. We currently only support payment by direct debit as this is a reliable and secure method. However, we are constantly working to improve our service and hope to be able to offer other payment methods, such as credit cards, in the future.
