Version 4.8.9
A new feature called Chat is replacing the Conversations section of Messages. Chat enables real-time sharing and conversation with other FamilySearch users. All the other message types, including Discoveries, are now found in Notifications.

The best family database I have found
FamilySearch is by far the best database for researching ancestors that I have found - and I have tried a few of them. My family lines are mainly concerned with Norway and USA and it might be that other parts of the world have less coverage.
One of my favorite features is the easy access to a wast number of historical archives that are digitally readable and that can be attached to each person. I also favor the idea of us building one large, common database where my entries are scrutinized for possible duplicates that can be merged in a process where information are selected from each duplicate.
My ancestor is a viking king 1200 y ago!
Amazing how I have been able to link my family line to already existing lines that go far back to the Viking times, even to the Roman emperors :-)
