With INCI Beauty you can analyse the composition of cosmetic products easily, quickly and for free!
The app that accompanies you everywhere...
Whether you're at home or in-store, we have thousands of references to give you the best details of what your cosmetics contain (or those you plan to buy).
With INCI Beauty you can:
• Discover the detailed composition of a product by scanning its barcode or searching for it using its name or brand. It is not in our database yet? Create a user account to add product photos and ingredients to receive analysis of its composition.
• Find a cleaner alternative to products whose rating does not satisfy you.
• Watch the offers of different merchants to buy the product you like.
• Fill in your restrictions to exclude a family of unwanted ingredients.
• View your search history and tag products as favourites to find them more easily when you make future purchases.
• Share your opinion with the community with the Like/Dislike button or by writing a comment.
With your user account, you can:
• Choose your avatar, add a bio, indicate your Instagram, Facebook and Twitter profiles.
• See the products you've added comments on.
• Follow users and view their comments.

How are rating calculated?

At the end of 2017, two engineering students from the SIGMA chemistry school in Clermont-Ferrand took part in the INCI Beauty project. Since November 2018, a chemical engineer has joined us and gives us his scientific support to give you the best guidance on the function of INCI ingredients, in order to offer consistent rating and objective results, regardless of any commercial interest.

Ratings and Reviews
A game changer
Easy to use app to check the ingredients of your cosmetic and beauty products, including the possibility to read opinions or involve in discussions about specific products. It also has a much better search function than other similar apps I have tried before, with many products included from smaller/lesser known European brands. And should the product you are looking for not be in the list, you can always scan or copy in the ingredients and get a quick evaluation of it that way. A total game changer and must have in my opinion!
