“Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL" is a medical mobile app designed to help urologist to categorize kidney stone before performing percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) procedure. There are 2 scoring systems used in this app, namely STONE nephrolithometry score and the Guy’s stone score. In the STONE nephrolithometry scoring system, the higher the score is, the more complex the PCNL procedure will be. There are several features of "Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL", namely:

- Easy calculation of the the Guy’s stone score.
- Helpful to prepare kidney stone patient before PCNL surgery.
- It is totally free. Download now!

The STONE nephrolithometry scoring system was introduced by the Smith Institute for Urology. This scoring system is based solely on 5 parameters obtained from preoperative non contrast CT scan. These parameters include stone size, tract length, hydronephrosis or obstruction, number of involved calyces, and stone density or essence (Hounsfield units, HU). The total STONE nephrolithometry score ranges from 5 to 13, with 13 representing the most complex percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and 5 representing the simplest percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). The STONE nephrolithometry score also successfully predicts stone-free status after PCNL surgery. "Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL" app will help to evaluate kidney stone patients by calculating the STONE nephrolithometry score.

“Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL” also calculates the Guy’s stone score. In Guy's score, the parameters included are a number of stones, the location of the stone (calyces involved), abnormal anatomy, the presence of partial or complete staghorn stones and spinal injury/bifida. However, it does not include stone size, which in itself is a major predictor of the success rate of PCNL.

Disclaimer: all calculations must be re-checked and should not be used alone to guide patient care, nor should they substitute for clinical judgment. Calculations in "Kidney Stone Scoring - Predicts SFR after PCNL" app might be different with your local practice. Consult to expert doctor whenever necessary.
