Mister ovner hele tiden

Ovnene faller ut og må legges til stadig vekk, selv om wifi er det samme og stabilt. Kan gå type 5-10 forsøk med appen uten at det fungerer å legge til. Om det er appen eller ovnene som er elendige vet jeg ikke helt, men lite imponerende. Og ja Mill: Jeg har forsøkt alle tingene dere foreslår. :)

Hi Aerion,

If the Mill device looses connection to the WiFi or is having difficulties with connecting its most likely related to a things like :

1: The router is sending 2.4ghz and 5ghz on the same bands, since Mill only supports 2.4ghz then this might cause a problem in the connection process. We recommend you turn of the 5ghz temporarily, once the heater is connected you can turn it back on.

2: The router is using a function called "airtimefairness" this might lead to the heater loosing its connection. We recommend turning this function off.

3: The WiFi covered is insufficient

4: In addition to the main router the customer has a repeater, this might cause the heater to jump betwen the signal and cause issues.

We are in the process of making changes to the connection method, this should improve and fix majority issues related to mesh routers and 2.4ghz/5ghz on the same ssid.

Tech support & know-how lacking

The app works okay, but when I suddenly couldn’t reset my password, it took me several weeks of on- and off-debugging why. Tech support couldn’t help, hard to see if they tried. It turns out that Mill uses the Chinese platform SendCloud to send out password-info, and my email provider most likely got blacklisted by the Great Firewall of China, so that I never received again any email from the Mill-system.

Hi,

The email service is located in Germany , so its mostly likely a issue were the email service provider either either blocks the mail or it gets filtered into the spam folder. This happen quite often when using company email addresses, with gmail and other services this is not a problem.

We still feel that giving 2 stars because of a pinkode issue is somewhat strict , especially when its not the fault of the App itself.

!!! Not happy at all !!!

I do not recommend to buy Mill heaters anymore. A lot of problems connecting or trying to connect the heater itself with the app. Disappointed, discouraged and all my generation 1 Mill heaters are disconnected now. Seems that I cannot connect and control anymore from the app. This is especially after migration to the new server. So Mill Heaters are not smart as everyone thinks (((
