Excellent!

An amazing metronome app. Does everything from simple to complicated and has all you'll ever need. The possibilties are many for both beginners and pro's alike.. I love it!

Expensive and confusing

There are two different versions of the app in the App Store, and impossible to understand what the differences are. There are a lot of features, for sure, but it turns out that you need to purchase a lot of them as add ons with in app purchases.
I find it hard to understand how to create and edit settings, and after I had spent a lot of time trying to do something as simple as a 60bpm tap, the app crashes and my stored presets were gone.

Developer Response ,

Hi,
I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the app. I realise it’s confusing having two versions on the App Store, but it does say which features require Premium in the App Store descriptions.

Regarding the crash, that shouldn’t happen and will be investigated. I’m very surprised that you lost your Presets as a result - that should never happen and I’m very sorry.

I’d love to speak with you to find out what happened and help you get the most out of the app. I’m sure you’ll grow to love it once you understand the basics.

If you’re open to communicating, you can schedule a call at the bottom of the Help section in the app.
I hope to hear from you.
Best,
Joe

very confusing interface and manual

The latest version comes with the possibility to loop and slow down audio - according to the release notes. I have now spent 30 minutes with the app and the documentation trying to figure out how to do this, and I'm giving up - as I see no way to import an audio file in the app

Developer Response ,

I’m sorry you found it difficult to use. There’s a Getting Started guide that you can access via the Menu, by tapping the ? button at the top of the Sequencer page, or by tapping the Getting Started preset. I tried to make it as easy to find as possible. In there you’ll see that you can use the Track Markup feature to slow down and loop your audio. Simply tap the + on the Presets page and choose New Track Markup, then choose Files to pick a file to work with.

If you ever have any other questions you can email me via the About page in the menu or just at support@polynome.net. I usually reply very quickly and will help you figure out whatever you need.
Best,
Joe
