Very good, but…
Very good app, which secures the data and does the job it is made for. But still, there are some improvements that should be made so that I can fully transition to proton drive from iCloud:
- It should be possible to scroll through the images, without having to open one by one (probably a bit difficult to achieve, considering that each image must be decrypted.)
This had helped improve the usability and increasing the chance that I would dare to delete all my photos on my phone and have everything saved in this app.
Extremely good start to an app, keep up the good work.👍
Ver secure but not so convenient
Very secure and European based, but incredibly slow and lacks features. It also seems that when it comes to photos and video files, they are not organized according to time or date. Very chaotic and annoying.
There is also this issue where you are promised large or original sized photos and videos, yet Proton Drive can’t stream them or run them within the application itself.
My phone has been synchronizing its photo/video library for 2 days and still it’s not finished, it’s only 150 files.

Thank you for your feedback! We've added your vote to the existing request for supporting additional sorting options in the Photos tab. Could you please clarify which specific photo format are you unable to preview in the app? Please try disabling and then re-enabling the photo backup to see if this helps. For further assistance, contact us via the in-app 'Report a bug' feature.
Can't access synced files from pc
Without being able to access the files synced from the computer, and also not being able to automatically upload photos from the phone, the app is not really very useful.

Hi! We are actively working on introducing the photo backup functionality to our iOS app. Implementing the 'Computers' section is planned as well. In the meantime, you can access these files via the mobile app if you add them to 'My Files' on Windows.
