Doesn’t edit .zip-files as promised

I created a .zip-archive with the default tool in Mac OS X, and wanted to edit it.
I bought this app, and it doesn’t work. I delete files, but when I navigate around in different folders in the archive, the files are still there.
Also, the interface of the application is not user-friendly. The first time I tried to open my .zip-file, I got a prompt asking me where I wanted the archive extracted.

EDIT: seems like this application deleted files in the archive correctly. I opened the edited .zip-files on my Windows-computer, and everything was fine. All the files I had deleted were gone from the archive. This means that this application is just unable to correctly display the current contents of an archive.
