Good game
Played it for a bit, seems like a great game
Was kind of fun
Veen using this since early stages of development, i participated in the testflight version. Through development it was a fun game with steady progress, although some obvious bugs. Just about the tile of release, they added IAP, and the game slowly turned in to a pay-to-progress type of game. As more and more updates are pushed, I progress slower, and they seem to implement even more ways to milk users of money. I don’t know wether this game is more fun in more populated areas, more participators in wars eg. but for me, half the interface seems to consists of ways to spend real money. The price for ingame stuff is way steep aswell.

Hi, thanks for your review. Although we offer in-app purchases to boost your empire, you do not have to spend money in order to progress. We are working on improving the era progression feature and would love to hear more of your thoughts on this. You can contact us via feedback@runanempire.com. If you are in a low populated area or do not have many competitors, there are other ways to stay motivated, such as the epic quest objectives. Fun concept if you didn’t have to pay.
You have to subscribe for gameplay as far as I know playing the game.
