It stands it will work on my iPhone 11 and it doesn’t.

Hi falskapp, we completely understand your frustration! Unfortunately, Apple does not allow developers to specify compatible devices for apps (only compatible versions of iOS). We have submitted several requests to Apple to add LIDAR as a compatibility flag so we can prevent this from happening in the future and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience!
