Description

The SafeRoads Project is a community project. Our goal is to work with you to collectively make our roads safer. Whether in the United States or in any other part of the world, bad driving is the number of cause of avoidable deaths. There is a crisis on America's roadways and we can all act together to solve it.
An average of 40,000 lives have been lost every year in the last 5 years due to US roadmay crashes and fatalities. That's 40,000 families left behind without someone they love.
As we navigate our daily lives, we often forget the importance of road safety. Recent statistics show that highway fatalities have been increasing, with an estimated 38,680 people dying in motor vehicle traffic crashes on U.S. roads in 2020. This is a 7.2% increase from the previous year. The year 2021 had a further increase of 10.5% fatalities over 2020. NHTSA projects that an estimated 42,915 people died in motor vehicle traffic crashes in 2021.

This crisis is avoidable if we all work together. We can reduce these fatalities by encouraging the public to report bad drivers so they can be coached, trained, and taken off the road before they become a cause for fatal accidents. This is where you come in. By reporting unsafe driving behavior, you can help prevent accidents and save lives.

Statistics show that reporting unsafe driving behavior can be effective in reducing fatalities. In fact, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2019, states that implemented a program to report aggressive driving saw a 17% reduction in fatalities.

We urge you to take an active role in promoting road safety. Whether you are a driver, passenger, pedestrian, or cyclist, you can make a difference. Please report any unsafe driving behavior you witness to the authorities. Your actions can help prevent accidents and save lives.

Do your part by spreading awareness of our initiative at your church, workplace and within your community. We are looking for volunteers and sponsors to help us do the right thing.
Together, we can make our roads safer for everyone. We strongly believe road safety is everyones' responsibility.

We've created a driver safety monitoring program for all
You must have seen commercial vehicles which bear decals asking "How am I driving?". These vehicles are part of a driver safety program. Businesses whose employees use their vehicles for transportation enroll in driver safety programs to make sure that their employees are driving safely on the road.

These driver safety monitoring programs are used to provide drivers with feedback about how to improve their driving habits.

There is evidence to suggest that participation in driver safety monitoring programs can lead to safer driving behaviors and help reduce the risk of crashes and injuries on the road.

How does the SafeRoads driving safety monitoring program work?
+ The SafeRoads driver safety monitoring program is free for personal use
+ Anyone can visit the SafeRoads website or download our app to report a bad driver. In any city, any country.
+ If the vehicle is registered to a user on SafeRoads, the owner receives an anonymous notification with the driving feedback. Vehicle owners can take action based on the feedback received
+ Any vehicle owner can register their car on SafeRoads for FREE and they can receive feedback on how their drivers are driving
+ Users who report driving behavior earn points. Points earned can be redeemed for premium services like real-tim notifications or for specific services or discounts from our partners (Driving schools or other businesses).
+ We're a not for profit initiative so we're always looking for sponsors and supporters. Support us by purchasing 'Vehicle Bumper decals'. You can also donate money to our program or we can license you rights to distribute decals in your community (city/neighborhood/church/office or place of business).
