Consistently ranked in the top 10 UK marathons, an AIMS/IAAF Grade A certified race, with BARR Gold accreditation for outstanding race management. We’re blessed with a tremendous amount of natural beauty in Milton Keynes. We’re also lucky to have a world-class system of cycle paths. We do our best to take advantage of those factors to give our runners a course that’s interesting, inspiring, fun to run, fast and different from other marathons.
MK Half Marathon
Voted 2nd best half marathon in the UK in 2017!
The MK Half Marathon shares the same tree lined city boulevards before running through the lush Ouzel Valley following the beautiful, meandering River Ouzel onto first Walton Lake, one of the richest spots in Milton Keynes to enjoy wildlife, and then onto the very picturesque Caldecotte Lake and superb stadium finish.

The BMI Marathon Relay event brings an added dimension to the MK Marathon, providing an excellent opportunity for groups of friends or work colleagues to have a great day out and compete for the title of fastest team in the race.
Rocket 5K
Great PB Potential!
A fun and easy 5k from CMK to the stadium perimeter road with extra special bling. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the buzz of marathon weekend without the extra mileage! This event takes place on the day before the MK Marathon.

The Superhero Fun Run is a fantastic event for runners (or walkers!) of all ages and abilities. Experience what being a superhero is all about as you cross the stadium finish line cheered by thousands of admiring spectators. This event sells out every year and is a very colourful and fun addition to the MK Marathon event for the whole family.
