I bought this suite of products after comparing it in reviews I could find. I chose this over Lightleap as it was cheaper and I figured I’d take the risk. Unfortunately, despite my hopes and best wishes, this investment hasn’t even come close to paying off.

I see what the developer has tried to do, and they are great ideas! To a limited extent, they have even succeeded.

However, this is about 40-60% of a usable product and that means I will never be comfortable about displaying the results. The UI is not configured for iPadOS. Sure it kind of works, but the image is smaller than my phone, so my iPad Pro 11’s screen is largely wasted.

The AI is just poor at detecting horizon lines, and while this can be manually adjusted, now matter how much care I use with my Apple Pencil 2, no matter how much I fade, feather and play with opacity settings etc., I just cannot draw an accurate mask that produces a realistic result… and that is zoomed in to maximum.

It falls far short of a product like Luminar which is what I am used to working with on PC. This cost me NZ$17 which is lower than the $104 it would cost for Luminar, so that should be factored in. However, I wouldn’t use this on any of my work because it just isn’t good enough. This is an amateur’s good attempt at developing a product but it just cannot compete with professionally developed apps that are out there.

I applaud the developer for their vision, but this needs a lot of work to be user-friendly by 2021 standards, and to produce images that I would be comfortable sharing with others. I hope they do more work on this so that my money isn’t wasted, and so that they can make a decent income off this suite of apps. However, I’m sorry to say that I cannot recommend this at all to anyone in its current form, and I feel the need to tell others not to buy it until significant improvements are made.

I’m sorry to write what may be seen as a harsh review, and I have tried to be as balanced as I can be, but from when I first loaded it up through to now, I wish I had my money back as I had guessed wrong.
