The convenience is terrible lol!!!
It’s a love hate relationship with Afterpay!
Mostly love though 😂
Being able to get the things that you not only NEED but of course the things that you WANT without paying it all in one lump sum is awesome especially for people like me who can’t afford to pay for things straight away... and it’s great that you get your purchase straight away while still paying it off is the best...
Obviously beware of your spending habits and if you can’t actually afford to make the repayments every fortnight then think before you spend..
I’m amazing at paying things off and knowing exactly how much I can afford each week. If you’re not like that then you could find yourself in trouble... enjoy it but be careful 😊💜
Will Give You your limit and then will decline any high priced order within your limit. So instead of buying more expensive quality items, you can only buy multiple smaller orders. For example. You will get declined for a $700 ipad, yet you have the ability to rack up $700 worth of smaller orders in the one day, making the due payments the exact same. I don’t understand this part? Even when you ask for help understanding it’s all a system thing. So unless you actually need Afterpay for multiple small purchases.... it’s not ideal for the quality shopper. Better off with the new Visa payment card that is in the making of being released as Afterpays biggest competitor yet to come. Other than this. I love Afterpay and comes in handy for things you never plan for. The other downside is you have bills to pay. So if your not happy with bills then don’t be upset when it’s time to pay them.
A great way to buy things if you can manage your money
A good app, with plenty of notifications that a payment is coming, and the ability to pay in advance. If you’ve been their customer for a while you don’t have to pay the initial payment (pushing the Laybuy out by a few weeks) but you do still need to be really careful not to overspend, especially if you use other companies as well. These are fine if you can be disciplined about what you can afford, but you could get yourself in real trouble if you are not. Of the few companies I use, I like Afterpay the most, and will choose them if there is more than one option.
