Best anime card game so far
Story: 7/10
The story is great, your typical shonen anime plot.
Art: 8/10
The art is really great but since there are different artists you won't always get best quality.
Audio: 9/10
The BGM is great to listen to and the availability JPN voices during combat and conversation makes it even better. You have the settings to turn each off/on if you feel like it.
Gameplay: 8/10
The combat system is different to most other card games. Each card have one of the 3 attack types which is needed to make different combos. Specific combos are needed to destroy certain enemies easier and this is what makes this game unique.
Cons:
- BGM usually stops after a sound effect.
- Crashes occasionally. Usually after a convo ending (probably because I have a iphone4 and it doesn't have much RAM).
- Battles (PvP) has the same gameplay as other Card games. Cards automatically play and whoever has higher stats win.
- Obtaining cards is harder since buying a card pack only gives you one card although this is offset with higher chance to get the rares. This still makes it harder to enhance/evolve cards.
- Having to see only a min of conversation after every 4 mission is just too short.
Should you play this game?
I say yes (or at least give it a try). This is the only card game I won't be uninstalling.
