Connection lag and poor UI
The slide bar to open gate is outdated, reject and open buttons would be more efficient. The lag time between approving entry and gate opening is too long for a real-time system (our internet and wifi connectivity are excellent). If sliding the entry bar is unsuccessful (happens regularly) there is no way to reconnect with the system to ask the visitor to redial. Poorly designed, flaky functionality.
