Shopping list frustrating
Would love to be able to manually sort the shopping list items. Items get added over several days and can end up quite long. It would be good to be able to sort things into similar groups (e.g. all fruit and vege together) to aid efficiency in the supermarket.
Also annoying to have to push “add new item” every time when typing multiple things in on the phone. Any chance of it just opening to a new line when you hit enter on the previous item?
Reader assist
Please rollback whatever you tried to fix with the reader assist to the previous version from early July 2023. It no longer works well and no longer continues to work even when deleting the app and re-downloading multiple times. It appears under play option at first when newly downloaded then at some point within minutes- an hour the play option in the app completely disappears (the triangle down the bottom). Then you can ask Alexa to read a specific kindle book and this doesn’t always work and is extremely frustrating… but you can’t manually go in and select the kindle books through the alexa app like you normally can in reader assist. Tried going through the help desk a few times but they couldn’t help. It’s pretty much the main thing I need the app for and rely on it heavily. Thank you
So hard to use!
I find the app really difficult to use. It actually puts me off using Alexa. Just doing something as simple as setting the time for my region was so hard to work out.
Alexa often can’t understand what I’m asking it to do, like play my favourite radio station, so I want to set it as a skill, so that when I would say “play my favourite radio station” she would go to the programmed station. But it’s so hard to work out how to do it. Instead there are lots of “fun” and “silly” suggestions of things to try, it’s really annoying.
