* Monitor your Anchor and Boat Position - Set your anchor position and preferences in quick or advanced mode, then monitor your vessel and position history on the map. Can be used with just your Phone or connected to your N2K backbone and a PredictWind DataHub.
* 3 Modes, Simple, Advanced or Datahub linked - Use Simple Mode to quickly drag the anchor into position and set a safe radius. Advanced allows you to manually enter data for increased accuracy. DataHub Link reads your N2K data and fills in the relevant info, then input how much chain you’ve let out, and you’re done!
* Set Up Alerts - Use our preset alerts or customise your own real-time and forecast alerts. The DataHub allows Anchor Alert to read your boat’s N2K network and alert you when conditions move outside your specified safe limits.

Released app version 1.3 does not work as advertised
I’ve got DataHub fully connected to my boat’s NMEA data and to the Internet. But the Anchor App doesn’t show NMEA data from the DataHub and doesn’t work remotely. I asked PW support and they said that the app does not yet support all the advertised functionality. Right now it’s just a regular anchor app - no remote capability nor NMEA data. Very disappointing. Should be a 0.3 version, not 1.3 version.
PW, please correct any of this if I’m wrong. I desperately want this app to work as advertised and am bitterly disappointed that it doesn’t.

We apologize for any confusion regarding when the Anchor Alert App will be ready. While we initially aimed for full functionality by the end of 2023, the integration process has proven more complex than anticipated, requiring significant development effort to resolve issues. Opening the app to the public has been crucial for real-world testing, allowing us to address all aspects comprehensively.
