Description
The official Husqvarna Automower® Connect app allows you to take full control of your Husqvarna robotic lawnmower. The app provides two modes of connectivity depending on model; Automower® Connect for long-range connectivity using cellular communication, and Automower® Connect@Home for short-range connectivity using Bluetooth.
Husqvarna Automower® Connect app provides the following main capabilities:
Status and control
• Receive the current status of the mower.
• Receive push notifications if the mower is stopped or is brought outside the installation.
• Send Start, Pause and Park commands to the mower.
Configure and install
• Have the mower’s complete menu system on your mobile device.
• View and change the mower settings, e.g. timers and cutting height.
• Take advantage of the high resolution and color display on your mobile device to enhance the interaction with the mower.
Security (applicable for Husqvarna Automower® Connect long-range connectivity)
• Track your mower’s GPS position in real time.
• Receive push notification alarm in the event of theft.

Version 2024.6.1
This update includes bug fixes and improvements related to the map and Bluetooth connection.
Husqvarna is continuously improving the experience in Automower® Connect. Make sure to always download the latest version to be up to date with improvements and new features.

Updates have been a killer
The 4wD mower has had a bunch of issues with both mechanical failures and also updates which have essentially stopped it working for weeks on end.
It was also impossible to roll back updates, and the mower will occasionally perform updates without permission. The faults associated with the updates have been many and varied.
When it’s working it’s good.
The service I received from the dealer has been excellent (Hastings, NZ) and husquvarna have been good about warranty and repairs.
Ok but could be better
There are things missing from this app that should be there.
While you can see the track of the mower for the last few minutes there is no way to see its total daily, weekly or monthly mowing coverage. This should be available.
It should also be easier to switch from the map view back to the dashboard, rather than having to go back to the main menu. A button on the map for the dashboard would be useful.
I would also like to be able to direct the mower from the app. Placing a marker on the map that the mower then goes to would be a useful option.
Until these things are available the app is only average.
Robotic beings rule the earth.
Our robot mower is the best investment we ever made. It mows our almost 500m2 hilly country section no problem at all. My sense of well being is much improved, as I never have the 4hour task of pushing the mower up hill and down dale, looming over me. I step out of the door every morning, to a perfect lawn, which I am able to enjoy. Bed made, dishwasher on, lawn mowed. I leave the house having ticked off a heap of jobs already.
