Best Budget 4+

I use this nearly every day, for a few years now. It does what I need it to do, but more recently it’s gone a bit overboard with ads. An ad when you open, an ad to record 20 transactions, ads that interrupt and intersperse through your budgets, making it hard to see what’s an ad and what’s actually useful information. But I still use it, so it just be doing at least something right!

Moderately recommended. It’s hard to find anything that does the job without paying $100 a year or more :/

Wanted a straight forward app that didn’t keep telling to buy the pro version. Very pleased.

Vey useful app - simple to use, yet sophisticated. The beauty of this app is that - unlike many other budgeting/tracking apps - the different budgets can be set for different periods (eg weekly, fortnightly, monthly , and annual) and different start dates - eg one item can have a weekly budget starting Monday, another can have a weekly budget starting Saturday, a third can have a monthly budget starting on the 1st, and a fourth can have a monthly budget starting on the 15th. The budgets are easy to set up an, once set up, entering a transaction is a mere matter of seconds. I use it to operate a virtual "envelope" ("bucket") budgeting system - I keep all the money I need for my expenses in one bank account, but with this I can see exactly how much money is available for each budget item. I trialled several budgeting/tracking apps, but settled on this one as the easiets and most usable one. I liked it so much I upgraded to the bought version (which has more capacity), and I have used it consistently for 2 months now. It has really helped me to make my budget work, and I wouldn't be without it.
