Generally good, works well and as in reader/audio player but it’s front page could do with some work. There categories always seem to show the same titles in multiple categories. There is no option to hid/remove/ignore a title or category you have no interest in. I would love to ba able to cut and past small snippets, usually title/author/book series into google but there is no copy option or hyperlinks. When starting the app it seems to take an age to open the another age to sync. This could all be done in the background while the book is playing. Amazingly the app doesn’t seem to be that well suited to touchscreen. Long narrow buttons closely spaced together, my fat fingers regularly hit the wrong buttons.

Solid service for free Audiobooks and Ebooks. Most of the time you have to wait a couple of weeks to a couple of months (less often) to borrow although in rare cases you can listen straight away when no one else has the book, which can be extremely convenient. But I have noticed that most of the good books have quite a extensive line to borrow. The magazine selection is poor but expected and the app layout is slightly clunky but again expected for a free service. Amount of available loans is okay to good. More categories would also be good.

I’m a borrow box user from very early on and have been very happy indeed. Unlike my husband who has to find a car park to visit the library I do it all from the comfort of home. My only desire would be to be reminded if I’d already read the book and in which year. I have go through so many that it takes a while to read the list when the book sounds vaguely familiar.

There’s an enormous selection of books available using this app. I have learned to search only for a specific title or author as I don’t trust reviews. Not everyone likes, or wants to read the books I do and reviews rarely tell one about the literary characteristics. I occasionally listen to an Audio book ands for the most part are extremely well read.
