Excellent home sound system
I have a Bose SA5 Amp driving acoustimass 5 speakers inside, and a pair of outdoor Bose 251 speakers on the deck, a SoundTouch 20 in the office, and 3 soundtouch wireless link adaptors connected to various amps and speakers throughout the house. I can play the same music everywhere in perfect sync or chose different sources for each individual location. Being able to access music from networked hard drives, computers and streaming services is amazing. I’ve found the system to work very well and highly recommend all the Bose SoundTouch devices.
Only gripe was that iHeartRadio not avail in NZ so I couldn’t listen to the likes of Hauraki or ZM, however I emailed vtuner and they added these stations into vtuner for me so now available on the Bose system. If you need radio stations added search vtuner and fill in their online form.
Took a while
I brought a Soundtouch 20 and a Soundtouch 10 last year. It took me ages to get connected to the internet and to get my 2 speakers to play in sync but it all came right and I would now not be without them! The sound is crystal clear and it almost looks like the speakers are too small to put out such quality sound. I like how they connect to wifi, a much better sound I feel than the bluetooth option, but none the less a great option for when he kids are home!!!!!

Soundtouch is an excellent system, when it works.
Sound quality is terrific and having device pre sets that include the ability to attach eg Ice Cast streams is a plus.
Soundtouch uses vTuner as its service to choose radio stations. Such is the confusion of the radio industry vTuner does not have access to all radio stations. It is a bit frustrating that e.g. I Heart radio stations cannot be accessed.
Periodically Boise updates the Soundtouch firmware and App software. Their ability to improve both is patchy and new releases generally follow reasonably quickly.
Boise could test their updates more thoroughly.
The Soundtouch offers 6 hardware presets. Having a button on the device is a welcome feature. I would like to see the hardware presets extended by software e.g. having an additional 12 presets available in the App.
The Boise Soundtouch is a solid purchase and a better option than a good number of similar perhaps more well known options.
