Valuable tool for the artist
When taking a photographic reference photo and translating this to a real oil painting, judging the colours, simplifying the contours, adjusting shades and intensity can be time consuming as you can be uncertain how far to push and adjust the variables. This program allows you to get it perfect in minutes. You know exactly where to go and how to get there in the painting process as the program creates the perfect translated reference photo.
A more creative way to stand out.
Forget cheesey Instagram filters and boring old colour tools, Brushstroke makes a far more elegant impact. So easy to use, and simple to experiment, yet the results are truely amazing. Obviously some very clever things happening under the hood to convert an otherwise dull photo into a masterpiece oil painting or watercolour. Worth every penny.
Excellent Automated Painter
Very easy to use. The app automatically paints the pictures. (It's fast.) There are dozens of basic presets, and settings for fine tuning. Many of the presets are only suitable for certain types of images, however. After playing with it you will probably settle on three or four favorites. But as it is so fast in rendering the pictures it doesn't take too long to look at all the basic options. The pictures are basically oil paintings, there is a "washed" setting, but Waterlogue is better if you want watercolor-style paintings. And if you want more control over the strokes, Clever Painter is great option.
