Description
Bus++ is a simple app to help you catch the bus in Wellington, New Zealand.
Features:
REAL TIME INFORMATION: Bus++ uses real time information on GPS tracked buses as well as scheduled information.
MAP VIEW: View all Wellington's bus stops on a 3D map. Quickly find busses near to you and add your favourite stops without needing to memorise stop numbers or exact stop names.
FAVOURITES: Favourites stops and services to cut out the noise and quickly check times for your usual trips.
APPLE WATCH: The app brings most of the functionality of the app to your wrist.
WIDGET: Bus++ includes an iOS10 friendly Widget that lets you quickly view the arrivals for the closest 3 stops to your location.
REMINDERS: You can choose a bus you would like to take and Bus++ will remind you when it's time to go catch it.
INTELLIGENT: The time of day and your usage habits help Bus++ decide which bus stops to prioritise.

Update, please!
The No 14 route was amended a month ago, but the app doesn’t seem to have caught up yet, so it doesn’t give information for the Wilton-bound stops on Waipapa Road. Once this gets sorted, I’ll be as delighted with this app as I was before.
August 2019: More months have gone by, and still no up date. It seems the developers of this app don’t read the reviews. Or don’t care...
October 2019: Yup, “don’t care” seems to be it.
Now they’ve literally added insult to injury by calling me “a manus” (whatever that is)because I want to add a stop that has unaccountably disappeared from my favourites. Oh, screw it, I’m going delete the whole thing.
Has the app stopped working?
It doesn’t appear to be receiving location from the buses or timetables from metlink anymore; it just says “no new arrivals” 24/7.
Shame because it’s a great app - way more user friendly than Metlink.
Great app but I have a request
To whoever developed this app you’ve done a great job. It’s super clean and easy to use. One thing I would love to be added in the future would be a way to rename bus stops as I think it would be easier for me to recognise “home to work” as a stop compared to what it’s normally called.
