REALLY HELPFUL
i just started using cake and im learning korean because i love kdramas and kpop. i started by learning hangeul (the korean alphabet) and ive already got the basics even though its been ONE DAY! i really recommend downloading, anyone can use cake!!💕
Review
I was really excited to try this learning app, but it didn't turn out as great as I hoped. After finishing the first part, I found out I had to pay to continue to the next part. That was a bit unexpected and honestly left me disappointed. Learning should be straightforward and enjoyable, but this added cost made it less appealing. So, I made the decision to delete the app because it did kind of match what I was looking for in a learning experience but having to pay??? It's a bummer because I believe education should be accessible to everyone, and this app didn't quite meet that expectation. I hope the developers read this and realize not everyone is able to pay.
Review On Cake
Hello, this is my honest review on cake after using it for 2 months.
Firstly, I was actually really excited to learn with my favourite groups! But then I realised I was just watching these stupid videos like TikTok but educational. They don’t hear you speak and doesn’t have real scenarios to practise in unlike TEUIDA.
It does give speaking practise but it doesn’t give adjustment on your level. It is really annoying and I wanted to learn some advanced vocabulary so i can just speak Korean fluently and freely.
Second, they charge us and forces people to buy there so called premium that will boost your “learning up to 200%” which sounded great and I decided to buy a one week trail to have a little test with the waters.
I just realised all this “PLUS(the app’s premium)” is just a big waste and scams you. It just unlocks a few extra “snacks”, which are videos for you to watch. I hope the developers see this review, well, mostly not because they need to “update” the app.
