Just started
I just started this game after reading lots of reviews (which I do before every game) to see if it’s worth getting or has bugs. Lots of reviews were saying that the ads were a huge problem, however in my opinion there’s only like one here and there IF you want a reward and they’re not 30 seconds long. I don’t know if this is because those review were from one year ago, but I absolutely love this game and you can play without wifi which has little to no ads. I think there may have been a small bug with collecting the coins as in it would give me less or more. But that doesn’t matter, because this game is sooo cute and the animations are worth the little to no ads. :D
Fun but extent of ads ruin enjoyment
This game is very cute, the art style is great, I love watching the cats make their soup - it’s overall enjoyable. However, the ads really lower the gameplay experience. I definitely don’t mind some ads in games, and it’s understandable that if it is a free game the developers need to earn money through them. But this game has a ridiculous amount of ads, all of which are 30+ seconds long AND require you to click through two additional screens that take 5-10 seconds to load once the ad is over. Because the ads are so large they often cause the game to glitch - the frame rate goes down terribly, it takes even longer to get back to the initial game, sometimes you don’t get your rewards which you sat for an entire ad to receive, and in the worst cases you have to shut down the app entirely because it stops working. I want to keep playing this game but I will probably only invest more time in it if the ads were toned down a bit (e.g. just video ads that you can close after 10-15 seconds). To the developers, please consider making this change to make the app more enjoyable for its users!
Super fun! But I have one request!
Cats and soup is such a relaxing game! But, I travel the world a lot so I would ask that you make this game available in all countries. Here’s why. I’m currently in china right now, I downloaded the app so that I could play it here because I couldn’t find any other app that was available in china. I enjoyed it a lot just to find that the very next day it wasn’t available anymore. I was so beaten yet sad. I actually quite enjoyed cats and soup a lot. So, I ask that you make it available in all countries. If not, at least make it available in china.
But overall it’s an amazing game!
