Practice practice practice
I suggest after watching a few you tube videos on how to use design space to start with a project such as creating a variety of pantry labels from scratch, using different tools such as shapes, images, text. Weld it, slice it, try it all! Also, desktop version way better than iPad version. And don’t be fooled into buying it from the Microsoft store, get it from cricut website.
Emailed regarding select tool issue
Hey team, emailed in regards to a select tool issue which I’ve had for the last week where I tap a selected area and it deletes the entire image rather than the selected space or colour. Becoming very frustrating to use at this point as I cannot create any new images. Before the last update we had no issues

Just okay
My biggest bugbears with this app is the help seems to be geared towards the desktop version which has a lot of differences to the app; the second is the metric guidelines are divided into quarters and eighths! What the heck! It seems to me the good people at Cricut have never used centimetres and millimetres because if they had they would know this makes no sense and just makes it almost impossible to check the accuracy of my files which have been drafted in metric in different programme. Come on people, even the UK has abandoned the Imperial system and they invented it!
