Good until adds block everything
Why do I have to pay premium to be able to see exchange rates which aren’t reflected in the real exchange? For years, I could get an idea about the rates, now it is blocked by ads that have nothing to do with what I’m interested in.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I understand your frustration with ads, and I'd like to explain a few things that might help improve your experience with My Currency.
First, you can actually minimize the ads by tapping the button in the top-right corner of any ad. This should help make the app more usable while keeping the free version available.
Regarding the exchange rates: The app provides real interbank exchange rates – the same rates you get when paying with credit cards or making bank transfers. Unfortunately, it's not possible for any app to track the varying rates and fees of individual exchange offices worldwide, as these can change frequently and differ even between locations of the same company.
About the ads: I've deliberately chosen to work with ad providers that respect user privacy, even though using more invasive tracking would allow for more "relevant" ads. I believe protecting users' privacy is worth this trade-off.
The premium version's one-time purchase price helps cover the ongoing costs of running and maintaining the app, including server expenses for providing real-time exchange rates. To be completely transparent, I develop and maintain this app primarily because I enjoy creating useful tools for people like yourself, as the actual financial returns wouldn't justify the time investment if I counted all the development hours.
I appreciate your long-term use of the app and hope you'll consider the premium version, which removes all ads while supporting continued development. If you have any other suggestions for improvement, please don't hesitate to reach out.
