At DAZN, we are always working on improving our service, with the aim of giving our fans the best possible sports-streaming experience. This update includes bug fixes and general improvements to the DAZN app.
Ratings and Reviews
Boxing schedule improving.
I have been subscribing to DAZN since they opened the app to 200 odd international countries. The boxing content has been up and down due to scheduling and complications from covid. However the schedule of fights running into Christmas has been outstanding and the coverage by Matchroom and DAZN has good announcers and pundits who are willing to talk fairly about fighters and not just wax lyrical about the A side in the fight. For any boxing fan it’s a no-brainer to sign up.
A poor replacement
I had been using NFL Game Pass for years with no issue, but since switching to DAZN I find streaming anything outside of the games themselves to be unwatchable. For example anytime I try to watch shows such as Good Morning Football or Total Access they stop to buffer about every 10 seconds. That’s even if these shows are available. I regularly find the NFL Network section to be empty with no shows listed.
The main reason I had NFL Game Pass was to get access to all the extra content as well as the games. Unless there’s a significant price decrease to make up for poorer service, next year I’ll just switch to watching the games for free on TVNZ. No point paying to watch the extra content if I can’t actually watch it.
Don’t be fooled by the 4+ star rating
Look at the most recent reviews. Nearly every single one is a one star for as far back as you can see. These guys bought 5 star reviews to bump at the rating. DAZN has some great content, but the constant buffering and issues means that most of the fights I watch either won’t load or buffer for 20 seconds, then stream for 10. I was going to give a 2 star, but in reality if I can’t watch what I pay for then it’s value is zero. These guys have ruined boxing viewing.
I got banned from the “Fanzone” for asking if anybody else was having buffering issues and commenting “this is the worst app ever”.
Keep burying your heads in the sand DAZN. Something better will come along and you guys will be gone.
