Xcode could store tens of gigabytes in ~/Library/Developer folder. Most of those cached files & symbols are not reclaimed over time and could consume a large amount of your storage, which is especially important if you have relatively small SSD drive.
DevCleaner gives you an easy way to inspect auto-generated files and clean them if necessary. It could also remind you about scan after a while.
It includes command line tool that allows you to include cleaning in your scripts.

80Gb freed on first run
This tool knows what to look for that accumulates on a development machine, and gives you a clear interface to select what you want to clean out and what you want to keep. I saved 80Gb, all of it things that can be re-downloaded/re-cached when needed, but which I definitely didn't need to preserve. Great stuff.
Very Useful
You could mess around the du and rm to achieve the same effect, but this tool makes it easy, works quickly and reliably, and even reminds you to do it once in a while if you want.
